Prepare a five-minute story about disguises and their consequences. Whether it’s a confession blurted out at the worst time, a long-held secret revealed, or the moment a carefully crafted facade simply crumbled. Donning the mask of comedy or tragedy, the duality of your public and private self, who do you decide to take the mask off for? Tell us about the time you indulged in a costume long past Halloween. Grandma, what big teeth you have!

Seating is not guaranteed and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the show. Admission is not guaranteed for late arrivals. All sales final. As many as 10 tickets may be available at the door for all of our StorySLAMs on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets suspected of being purchased for the sole purpose of reselling will be canceled at The Den Theatre's discretion. Our theater is located at 1331 N. Milwaukee Ave in Chicago. Parking can be difficult; please allow ample time for travel and parking. All lots and street parking are city owned and operated. Please read parking signs carefully. The Den is not responsible for violations received for parking. For detailed information on parking and public transit routes, click here.Most of our shows do not allow or have very limited late seating. If you do not show up on time for a show, you may not be allowed entry. We strongly encourage you to plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time to ensure you avoid any issues with seating.
