They Are All Our Sons
18+ ONLY
They Are All Our Sons is an immersive theatrical experience that reimagines one of our oldest myths, the Medusa myth, against the backdrop of a modern-day strip club. It's not just a play, but a tool for social change.
When two young dancers meet at the club, Athena quickly takes Medusa under her wing. The club encourages their bond, and soon they're sisters, dance partners, and the act everyone pays to see. But as Medusa grows obsessed with her own awakening, the power play between men and women, and finally healing from her past, she begins to challenge the stability of the only place Athena has ever felt in control.
The show moves through joy, resilience, pain, and rage, exploring the sisterhood wound and the systems of power the club operates within. We are left with the question: what if Medusa was never the monster? What if she was a woman who got labeled one because it was easier than holding a god accountable?
Content Warnings
Abstract depiction of sexual assault, partial nudity, misogyny, sexual content, substance use, depiction of choking, discussion of violence or aggression.
Cabaret VIP Seating
Cabaret VIP seats are on "stage" at cabaret tables. Guests in these seats will be immersed in the club experience, including audience interaction, such as being prompted by the ensemble to hand them prop money provided on the tables. Audience members are not allowed to touch the actors. Actors may ask to touch audience members. Purchasing a Cabaret VIP ticket implies consent to audience interaction, though it does not inherently imply consent to being touched (an actor will always ask before touching an audience member).
Late Seating Policy
There will be no late seating. Doors open 30 minutes before the show starts, and a pre-show begins 20 minutes before the start. Please plan to arrive early, as it is highly encouraged to experience our pre-show. Be advised that street parking is limited by the theatre, and factor in extra time for transportation. Thank you!
